Unlike most other private and parochial schools, only 5% of San Miguel's operating income comes from tuition. Approximately 95% of our income comes from foundations, corporations, organizations, and individuals, like you!

2013-2014 Donor Guide Guide

This booklet is all about choices. Our students at San Miguel Schools Chicago choose to work hard and achieve an education that can open up a world of future possibilities to them. And you can choose to support our schools, our students and our teachers in a way that reflects your own preferences and passions.

Our Donor Giving Guide lets you choose where you want to invest, and how you want to impact our students. Perhaps your goal is to make a lasting difference by investing in the life of one student, or you want to help the school function at a higher level for the benefit of young men and women.

Sponsor a Student at San Miguel

Scholarship support is crucial to helping a student soar

For students at San Miguel, scholarships enable students and families to afford a private, quality education. Your gift to the Bro. Ed Siderewicz, FSC and Gordon Hannon Scholarship Fund is a tangible and direct way to make a difference in the life of a child. Please consider sponsoring a child through a Support, Middle School or Cordero Scholarship.

Support Resources Scholarship

$2,000 will provide support services to a middle school student for an entire year.

Support resources scholarship funds ensure that students receive opportunities beyond that of a traditional middle school education. Support resources include the following:

Youth Development Activities
Graduate Support
Family Support Services
High School and College Transition Support

Annual Middle School Scholarship

$12,000 will sponsor a middle school student for an entire year and provide future Graduate Support

Cordero Scholarship

$36,000 will provide a 3-year scholarship for a middle school student and provide future Graduate Support through his or her high school years.

Middle school scholarship funds ensure that students have the following resources:

Classroom Instruction
School Supplies
Experiential Learning
Health & Wellness
Classroom Materials

Scholarship sponsors will receive correspondence from the scholarship recipient in order to develop a more personal relationship with the student as well as attend to the student's progress and success. Scholarship sponsors will also receive invitations to various school events.
